Quick update:

Been working a lot….my boss had family emergency so I have been working more hours and I’m tired.  I can’t seem to figure out how to keep up with my real life.

Have a bluebird society meeting tomorrow night and not really ready for it, but that’s the way it is!  I’m taking a habitat steward class on Thurs nights, learning a lot about creating backyard wildlife habitats.

Dan and Jamie are gettting along well…they got to hear the baby’s heartbeat last week!  I am still so amazed.  Wowee.

Rob is doing pretty good but don’t hear much from him.  Hoping to go out and see him but I have no idea when.

Still need to submit my count for the Great Backyard Bird Count.  On the day I was doing it at home, it seemed like the birds knew it and I had quite a bird party going on in the back yard.

I’m going to try to give up desserts for the next 40 days.  I need to and it will be good for me in every way.  This a challenge for me!

Today my nephew Ryan is 25 years old.  He was born on the due date of my first pregnancy, which I miscarried in 1983.  After I started having some trouble I found out I was carrying twins!  Although I lost them, I still think about them and hope they are waiting for me, along with another baby I lost when Dan was about 2.  Ryan’s birthday always reminds me.  Ryan’s mom Carol has been very sick in Florida, but is finally in a rehab center and recovering slowly.

“Be at rest once more, O my soul,
for the LORD has been good to you.” Ps 116:7

  1. {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{ Christy }}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} <- big hugs I just felt like you could use some hugs. You’ve been on my heart for prayers often lately. I’ve missed you! Somehow, between my trips to Planet Migraine, and your working, we’ve missed out on each other. Please know that I appreciate you and think of you fondly and often, Kiddo.Your babies are waiting for you. Aren’t we glad that this world isn’t our permanent home?! Indeed we are!May the blessing of the Lord be upon you in all of its fullness and might and glory and love; I bless you in the Most Holy Name of Jesus.

  2. Ah, the backyard bird count. I have only done that once, I really should shape up! I resolve each year to do more birding, but results are haphazard, sad to say. I was looking further down on your page, and I love the photos of your mom. Thanks for sharing those!
